The Seven Universal Laws III

– The Kybalion

The Law of Vibration

The third of the seven Universal Laws tells us that “the whole universe is but a vibration;” Science has confirmed that everything in the Universe, including you, is pure energy vibrating at different frequencies.

The axiom that “like energy attracts like energy”, upon which the Law of Attraction is based, has it’s foundation in this Law. Everything that we experience with our five physical senses is conveyed through vibrations. The same applies to the mental realm. Your thoughts are vibrations. All of your emotions are vibrations, where “unconditional love” (in the sense of love for another) is the highest and most subtle of the emotional vibrations and “hate” is the densest and most base. One can learn to command the mental vibrations at will, as this is the art of transmutation and true thought power.

“Every thought, emotion or mental state has its corresponding rate and mode of vibration. And by an effort of the will of the person, or of other persons, these mental states may be reproduced, just as a musical tone may be reproduced by causing an instrument to vibrate at a certain rate–just as color may be reproduced in the same way. By knowledge of the Law of Vibration, as applied to Mental Phenomena, one may polarize his mind at any degree he wishes, thus gaining perfect command over his mental states, moods, etc. In the same way he may affect the minds of others, producing the desired mental states in them. In short, he may be able to produce on the Mental Plane that which science produces on the Physical Plane–namely, “Vibrations at Will.” This power of course may be acquired only by the proper instruction, exercises, practice, etc., the science being that of Mental Transmutation, one of the branches of the Hermetic Art.”

The Principle of Correspondence,

“As the roots of the tree equal its branches, so do our inner worlds match the outer worlds. As the leaves of the tree nourish the roots, does the mind, when set free realize the truth. Nourish yourself with freedom and allow yourself to discover your own personal truth.”

This Axiom, “As above, So Below,” shows a pathway that may be traversed between many areas in our lives, and especially within the Minds perception of the All, and our connection to the Monad.

In other words, How we are communicating with our Collective lexicon and Collective Consciousness.

This principle is on universal application and manifestation, on the various planes of the material – Be they mental, Physical, or spiritual in the universe – This Axiom is a Universal Law.

“As Above So Below, As Below So above.”

– Hermès Trismegistus

This is considered to be one of the most important principles and mental instruments/tools for the Seeker by which Man is able to pry aside the obstacles which hide the unknown. This tool has been used to pierce the veil for some time now, in memorial.

Studying the Microcosm of our being empowers us to discover the Macrocosm, and creates opportunity for us to reason with the intelligent infinity from the known into the unknown. When one begins to expand into the heart, one must needs have worked through the lower centers by cleansing, purifying, and balancing them before proceeding upwards into the expansion of the energy contained therein.

We naturally will find AWARENESS of the SELF through this process.. Every individuated consciousness is a sub fractal of the whole that synergistically expands and contracts at the users desire.

We are GODS in the FLESH, only we have forgotten our Power.”

Hierophant, hieroglyphics, and hierarch” have a common root: hieros, a Greek word meaning “sacred.”  The original hierophants were priests of the ancient Greek city of Eleusis who performed sacred rites. In the 17th century, when the word was first documented in English, it referred to these priests.

The coming back from the amnesia requires a dedication and commitment to the greater aspects of our being-ness. Further allowing ourselves to be directed but THE ALL. Holding a deeply rooted intention here is crucial for the development of our DIVINE GIFTS. As we connect into this awareness of the Monad,

“Integra Naturae” – Robert Fludd – Circa 1618

It is in every moment, that we are being directed and simultaneously doing the directing; We are the wind and the Sail; The Ocean and the Wave. yet we as a species must come into the distinct awareness of our Divine humility and Humanity in order to better understand and recognize when we are in knowing, and when we are without knowing. This is reflective of our [in]-ability to comprehend the fullness of our power right out of the gates.

For if one [was] in full understanding of the power that lies within with[out] a properly functioning “moral compass,” something that comes only with time and throughout life, would we be the metaphoric kid with a magnifying glass burning down the ant hill or the Gods in the flesh that we truly are. “The power is in the Eye of the beholder.”

This statement is in full re-cognition of the [im]maturity that exists with us as a species. And what we as a species need to correct and better integrate with, in order to find the peace and abundance this Universe/Kosmos truly has to offer us.

As we develop further into this area of our being-ness as a species, we will see a shift in our ability to impact our world and better our environment along with aid our timing of “response-ability,” and also our account-ability.”

These two aspects, of the faculty that is our humanity, develop with time. Of course with a deep Consideration of our willingness to grow and evolve our sacred and divine rite of passage that we only allow in when we so choose and call it forth.

Through full recognition of the Law of Correspondence, we are able to see the functioning of our finite/infinite-ness and simultaneously our infinite/finite-ness, this is Law.

We are the Father, the Mother, and Son/Daughter. We are the ALL.

Through Developing an understanding around this awareness and the ALL, will we gather a glimpse into the nature of correspondence with the HIGHER/LOWER MINDS.

“As above, so below”
“the Universe is Mental, The ALL is MIND.”

The Seven Universal Laws

The Seven Universal Laws Explained

Over the next several weeks we will go through and define and describe in detail the Laws and principles of this Universe, and how we as a species may better integrate with them.

– The Hermetist

To begin our dissertation of these Laws, It is important to remember that many Initiates at this time are being tasked with the translation of these Alchemical texts and volumes, in order to better suit the constant transformation that man undertakes. We honor the Poemander and Sacred Dweller within and commit to purifying these treasures further.

There are seven Universal Laws or Principles by which everything in this Universe is governed. This Universe exists in perfect harmony by virtue of these Laws. Ancient mystical, esoteric and secret teachings dating back well over 5,000 years from Ancient Egypt to Ancient Greece and even into the Vedic tradition of Ancient India, all have, as their common thread, these seven Spiritual Laws of the Universe.

Once the seeker understands, applies and aligns themselves with these Universal Laws, they will experience transformation in every area of their life beyond that which they have ever dared to imagine.

– The Hermetist

The Immutable and the Mutable: Of the seven Universal Laws, the first three are immutable, eternal Laws, meaning they are Absolute and can never be changed or transcended. They have always existed and will always exist. The other four laws are transitory, mutable Laws meaning that they can be transcended or at least “better used” to create your ideal reality. This is not to say that you should ignore these four Laws or attempt to defy them for even if you do they will still govern your existence. Your aim is to master each of the seven Universal Laws and only then learn to transcend the mutable ones.

As we begin, we will go through and define the Laws in order. We invite each seeker and cosmic student to attend the meditative portion of these readings. In other words, We invite the seeker to sit down and contemplate the connection and the intrinsic Wisdom found within their wholesome intention of seeking illumination.

– Hermès Trismegistus

The Law of Mentalism (Immutable): The first of the seven Universal Laws tells us that “The All is Mind – The Universe is Mental”.

everything we see and experience in our physical world has its origin in the invisible, mental realm. This Law tells us that there is a single Universal Consciousness – the Universal Mind – from which all things manifest.

All energy and matter at all levels is created by and is subordinate to the Omnipresent Universal Mind. Your mind is part of the Universal Mind – the same in kind with the only difference being one of degree. Your reality is a manifestation of your mind. This is true Mind Power.

“The Principles of the Truth are Seven; he who knows these, understandingly, possesses the Magic Key before whose touch all the Doors of the Temple fly open”

– The Kybalion

Of these seven major Universal Laws by which the entire Universe is governed – three are immutable, eternal Laws and four are transitory, mutable Laws.

As stated in the Kybalion – “the Universe exists by virtue of these Laws, which form its framework and which hold it together.” By Knowing these Universal Laws and the basic Law of Attraction, and learning how to transcend the mutable Laws, we are empowered to change the circumstances of our lives so that we can consciously create our intended reality and achieve true mastery.

It is within our grasp as a species to begin to hold space for the sacred and divine light that is anchoring onto/into our planet. The meditative portion of this reading is to create an entry point for the seeker to enter within the sacred temple within and begin to direct their inner world into harmony.

We must prioritize Peace within our Mind | Body | Spirit.

(For those that are truly ready to be initiated into The Great Work, We welcome each of you into Sacred Ritual and Ceremony in order to receive your rites. We are ready to begin working at a deeper level with the following that is being created here and We as a community must begin to prioritize peace and wellbeing for ourselves and our planet.)

The Hermetic Body

A well known proverb states: “A sound mind in a sound body.”

The profound truth which is contained in these words will become very clear to everyone that truly devotes themselves to the practice of Health, wealth, and wellness within the Human Being.

The question certainly arises: “What is health from the Hermetic Perspective?”

Not everyone will be in the position to answer this question immediately, because most human beings will explain the question of health from an entirely individual and medical point of view. However, from the Hermetic viewpoint, Health is considered to be complete harmony of the energies that work within the body. In other words, Harmony of the MIND | BODY | SPIRIT complex. This is of course with respect for each of the elements within the body and fundamental attributes that each element carries with them.

True Health is a prerequisite for Spiritual Ascent. Should we wish to live in beautiful surroundings, then we must arrange our apartment, our house, or in this instance our body, beautifully and harmoniously,

The elements perform particular functions in the body in accordance with the Universal Law; in principle the elements are constructive, preserving, and decomposing. the positive aspect of the body, which is constructive, is the positive or active part of the elements. The preserving or equilibrating part is accomplished by the connecting part of the elements, which is the neutral part, and the decomposing or deteriorating part in the body is conducted by the negative attributes of the elements.

Therefore, the Fiery principle in its active form with its electric fluid is assigned the active, constructive, and expansive activity, and the opposite is assigned to its negative form.

The Watery principle in its active form influences the constructive activities and in its negative form the decomposing activities of all the liquids in the body.

The Air principle is given the task of regulating the electric fluid of the Fire and the magnetic fluid of the Water in the body and keeping them in Equilibrium.

As has been mentioned previously in the fundamental key in regards to the energies of the Earth principle, the Earth principle has the task of keeping the effects or activities of all three elements together in the body. The Earth element principle in its active form is stimulating, strengthening, constructive, preserving, etc.; in its negative form it is the opposite. The development as well as the aging of the body is subject to the Earth principle.

It is obvious how accurate this arrangement of the human body is within Hermetic Occult anatomy. everything that is Fire, takes place in the head. In the abdomen, however, the opposite takes place, that is the Watery Principle, the elimination, the activities of the liquids etc. The Chest is subject to Air and has at the same time a mediating function, since breathing takes place there mechanically. The Earthy principle with its cohesion, the energy that keeps everything together, essentially represents the entire human body with all its bones and flesh.

Now the question may arise: How and in which manner will the Akasha or Ether principle show itself in the physical or material body?

One who deeply contemplates on this will be able to answer this question by themselves.

We have learned that the Fiery principle and element produces the electrical fluid in the body and the Watery principle and element products the magnetic fluid. Each of these fluids contains two polar rays, an active and a passive, and the mutual influences and reciprocal actions of all four polar emanations resemble the tetrapolar magnet, which is identical to the mystery of the Tetragrammaton, the Yod-Heh-Vau-Heh of the Kabbalists.

The right side of the human body is active-electric and the left side is passive-magnetic, when it comes to a right handed person – A left handed person has the opposite polarities. the intensity of the emanation of the electromagnetic fluids depends upon one’s capacity, in other words, it depends upon the intensity of the activities of the elements in the body. The more soundly and harmoniously balanced these activities of the elements unfold in the human body, the more intense is the emanation.

With the help of particular exercises as well as the right attitude and the exact consideration of these laws, one may either increase or decrease the capacity, strength and power of effect of these energies and the electromagnetic fluid also known as Od, as necessity demands. The manner by which this is accomplished will be described in our practicums further along and throughout this course.

From the chemical and perhaps from the alchemical point of view, the electric and magnetic fluids contain within them active and passive polarities, as well as the task of forming acid combinations in all organic and inorganic bodies. In the active sense they are constructive and in the negative, they are decomposing, dissolving and destructive. the total result is the cycle of life: it comes into being, it develops, matures and departs, and that is the existence of evolution of everything created..

The Hermetic Teachings II

The Elements

The Principle of Fire

Fire

It has already been mentioned that the Akasha or principle of Ether is the cause of the formation of the elements. According to the Oriental writings, the first element to come out of the Akasha is Tejas, the principle of Fire. This Element, as well as the others, is effective not only on our physical plane, but in everything that has been created.

The fundamental attributes of the Fiery principle are heat and expansion.

That is why, at the beginning of any creation, there is Fire and Light. Even the Bible begins with the words: Fiat Lux – Let there be Light.

Light, of course, has Fire as its foundation. Every element has two polarities, namely active and passive or plus and minus, and this applies to the Fiery element as well. The plus is always constructive, creative and procreative, whereas the minus is decomposing and destructive. When we speak of an element, we must always speak of two fundamental attributes.

Religion has always attributed goodness to the active part and evil to the passive part. Fundamentally, however, there is neither good nor evil; this is all based upon human concepts and the division of unity into duality for the concept of our growth and evolution. In the universe there exists neither good nor evil, because everything has been created in accordance with the immutable laws, and only through knowing these laws will we be able to get closer to our Divinity.

The Fire principle is in possession of expansion as form of expression and attribute; in order to have a better idea of this princiiple, we will call it the electrical fluid. Later we will discover the reason for the analogy between the electrical fluid and material electricity.

This elemental principle of Fire is active and latent in everything created in the entire Cosmos, from the smallest grain of sand to the highest mountain that is visible, as well as All that is invisible.

The Foundation of Light is the Fire Principle. Light would never have come into being without the Fire principle. Hence, light is an aspect of Fire.

Light is Illuminating, penetrating and expansive.

The Principle of Water

Water

Water as an Element is opposite to Fire. Just like Fire, this principle came into being out of the Akasha, the Ether principle. In comparison to Fire, it has entirely opposite attributes, its fundamental properties being coldness and contraction. Here we are also dealing with two poles or polarities; the active pole is constructive, life giving, nourishing and preserving, whereas the negative pole, as with Fire, is decomposing, fermenting, divisive and dispersing.

Since this element’s fundamental attribute is contraction, the magnetic fluid came forth from this element. Fire as well as Water are active in all regions. In accordance with the law of Creation, the Fire principle cannot exist by itself but must contain within itself and antipole, the Water principle.

These two elements, Fire and Water, are the fundamental elements with which everything was created. Consequently we have to reckon everywhere with these two main elements, and furthermore with the electric and magnetic fluids as opposite polarities.

The Principle of Air

Air

Another element that originated from the Akasha is the element of Air. Initiates do not consider this principle as a true element; instead they make the concession of giving it its place as a mediator between the Fiery and Watery principles, whereby the Air principle establishes, so to speak, the neutral equilibrium as a medium between the active and passive activities of Water and Fire. All created life was set in motion through the reciprocal action of the active and passive polarities of the elements of Fire and Water.

In its position as a mediator the Airy principle has acquired from Fire the attribute of warmth and from Water the attribute of moisture. Life would not be possible without these two attributes.

These two attributes also lend the Airy principle two polarities, namely in its positive effect the life-giving polarity and in its negative effect the destructive polarity.

The Principle of Earth

Earth

We have been told that the Air principle does not actually represent a true element; this also applies to the principle of Earth. This means that out of the reciprocal action of the three aforementioned elements the Earth element came into being as the last element, which, through its specific attribute of solidification, contains all the other three elements. It is this attribute of solidification which has given these three aforementioned elements concrete form. At the same time, the activities of these three elements have been limited and, asa result, space, measure, weight, and time have come into being.

The reciprocal action of these elements together with the Earth element can be considered tetrapolar; therefore the Earth principle can be considered a tetrapolar magnet.

The fluid in the polarity of the Earth element is electromagnetic. Since all elements are active in the fourth, the Earth element, all created life can be explained. Through the realization which took place in the Earth element, the Fiat – the “let it be done” – came into being.

Regarding details of the specific effects of the elements in the carious spheres and kingdoms, such as the kingdom of nature, the animal kingdom, the human kingdom etc., the seeker will find information in the posts that come to follow.

Light

The foundation of light is the Fire principle. Light would never have come into being without the fire principle. hence, light is an aspect of Fire. Every element of Fire can be transformed into light and vice versa. That is why light contains all specific attributes. It is illuminating, penetrating and expansive. the opposite of light is darkness. The darkness came forth from the Water principle. Darkness has the opposite specific attributes of Light. Light would not be recognizable without the darkness, because without darkness light could not exist.

Light and Darkness came into being out of reciprocal actions of two elements, namely Fire and Water. Therefore, light has as its effect the positive attribute and darkness holds the negative attribute.

The Hermetic Teachings I

It is truly an interesting event…

…when we find ourself relishing in Self-Cognizance, The moment When we choose to see ourselves as we truly are. It is this instant, and In our grandest forms that we truly become the magicians of our universe. The moment when we choose to undertake the learnings and teachings of the ancients, and begin where they left off. we begin to choose and develop our own Spiritual Understanding of What IS, and what May be. All that it requires is simply attuning ourselves and the ‘Self’ to the most fundamental core truths and mechanics of Nature. LOve.
